Ivan crafted this iconic flying boat with traditional stick and stringer construction, as used on his Sealand. the resulting light weight allows flights of 9 minutes on 8 1900mAh nicads or 15 minutes on 9 3000mAh NiMH cells. Modern LiPos will save even more weight, and offer additional duration. Wing uses the efficient Selig 7055 airfoil and NACA leading edge cuff on outboard wing sections.
