The “Twin Beech” D18 was so versatile that Beechcraft produced 32 versions and more than 9,000 aircraft between 1937 and 1969, serving roles from passenger and mail transport to military navigation and bombardier training. The E-flite Beechcraft D18 1.5m became known as one of the most convenient and easiest-to-fly scale models of this aviation icon. It’s now reissued in a U.S. Navy trim scheme inspired by a variant used as a navigation and later photo reconnaissance trainer in the 1950s.
