Several years in development this model has been extensively prototyped and tested in Europe and the USA. The airfoil is a modified SynergJ section and features a hybrid of the latest construction techniques. Several iterations of wings, tails, and fuselages were designed prototyped and tested before the final version was put into production.
Construction: Bladder/Pressure molded carbon fiber 2-piece fuselage The wing uses a hybrid construction following the latest construction techniques in composite materials. It is delivered in 3 parts: the solid core molded in carbon fiber wing tips (and tails) are very stiff and lightweight reducing mass where it is most important. The Center panel* is also solid core: it has a light weight Rohacell® main panel and harder Rohacell® ailerons and flaps for added durability. The wing airfoils are from the modified SynergJ suite. * Except Storm version hollow molded Center panel
Quality: Low production quantity by master craftsmen, top competitors, means a greater level of attention to detail Extremely durable and accurate CNC aluminum molds. All parts come from CNC aluminum molds that are second to none in quality and finish Extreme post cure temperature (80°C) and duration on all parts insure surfaces remain smooth and glossy even with prolonged exposure to heat and direct sunlight
