Production of the kits—then still known as “RES”—by Tomas Hlavinka and his company HPmodel in the Czech Republic began six years ago. Six years of manufacturing experience, customer feedback, and extensive input from top pilots around the world led to the development of a new model for the international FAI F3L / F5L category.

Now, the third F3L / F5L “flagship” model, the Revolt, has arrived. Special thanks go to Tomas’s friends for optimization work, aerodynamic advice, and assistance in preparing the final model. Particular thanks are due to Gerald Tylor for the wing concept and the outstanding airfoil design.

This marks the beginning of a new chapter. What makes the F3L / F5L Revolt truly special and unique is its negative V-shaped horizontal tail (also known as a “Mercedes tail”), which can be controlled using either one or two servos.
