The H-King FLYCAT V2 is an upgraded version of the original FLYCAT 70mm EDF jet, featuring significant performance enhancements while maintaining its sleek design, agility, and flight characteristics. The new version boasts a more powerful 2860-2100KV brushless inrunner motor paired with a 12-blade EDF unit, delivering higher speeds, improved vertical performance, and a realistic turbine-like sound. It also includes an Aerostar 80A RVS G2 ESC, which provides instant reverse thrust, helping to reduce landing distance when flying from hard runways.

A key addition to the V2 is the twin rudders, which enhance maneuverability, enabling advanced aerobatic moves such as knife-edge and falling leaf maneuvers. The high-visibility color scheme not only adds to its striking appearance but also improves orientation during fast aerobatic flights. Unlike the previous version, the FLYCAT V2 eliminates the need for hand-launching, thanks to its pre-installed, grass-capable electronic retracts, ensuring smooth take-offs and landings on both hard and grass runways.

Constructed from durable EPO foam, the model is built to withstand rough handling. It comes as a Plug-N-Fly (PNF) model, meaning the motor, fan unit, and retracts are pre-installed at the factory. It also includes six 9g high-quality servos, with a metal-geared servo on the nose wheel, providing reliable control for high-speed maneuvers. Assembly is quick and simple, with minimal parts that either screw or glue together. The aircraft remains a one-piece model once built, but the wing tips can be removed for transport. The large magnetically secured canopy provides easy access to the receiver and battery bay, with space for a 3000–4000mAh 6S battery.
