The EDF Sports Hawk jet, inspired by the iconic BAE Hawk trainer, is a lightweight model in its class, being about 500g lighter than similar market options. It features a sport scale design used by military forces worldwide and is marketed as almost ready-to-fly. The assembly is straightforward with bolt-on components including wings, stabilizers, and a vertical stabilizer. Key features include all-metal electronic retracts, metal-geared digital servos, day-bright LED lights, and a Formula One-inspired paint scheme. The jet requires additional components like a 100~110mm fan unit, a high-voltage ESC, a BEC system, batteries, and a transmitter and receiver. It's constructed from a high-density EPO foam which is durable and strong. The Sports Hawk is designed for intermediate to advanced pilots, offering impressive flight performance, capable of executing large jet-style maneuvers and maintaining stability across a wide flight envelope.
