F-82 Twin Mustang 2100 mm from NEXA

Details

The North American F-82 Twin Mustang was the last American piston-engine fighter ordered into production by the United States Air Force. Based on the P-51 Mustang, the F-82 was originally designed as a long-range escort fighter in World War II; however, the war ended well before the first production units were operational.

The Nexa F-82 Twin Mustang is a .50 size electric scale series warbird with a 2100mm wingspan, constructed primarily from balsa wood and fully covered. This ARF requires assembly and installation of your choice of servos and power system, and includes a three piece wing design with aluminum wing joiners, flaps, large battery hatch in both fuselages, painted pilot and pre-hinged and installed control surfaces. A rarity in the hobby, this model would be the talk of any RC airfield.

Features:

  • US Airforce WWII "Betty Jo" livery that shows brilliantly in the skies
  • Complete Balsa and lite-ply construction for rigidity and durability
  • Three piece wing with aluminum wing joiners for easy transport
  • Functional flaps for shorter takeoffs and slower landings
  • Covered from tip to tail in scale details including two painted pilots and nicely detailed cockpit
  • Fiberglass cowling for strength and durability
  • All control surfaces come out of the box pre-hinged and installed for convenience
  • Large battery hatches in both fuselages allows for your chosen electric setup
