The Staufenbiel CHEETAH R is the successor to the CHEETAH. The additional "R" in the name stands for "Redesign" and refers to the new fluorescent appearance of the model, which makes it a definite eye catcher on any airfield. The new CHEETAH R still retains all the great features of its popular predecessor, such as its outstanding aerobatic characteristics, tremendous climbing performance, its very high degree of prefabrication and the resulting short construction period.
High-Quality ConstructionThe glider is equipped with a coloured black fibre-glass fuselage with removable canopy. The spacious cabin provides enough room for the electronics and large batteries, which translate into long flight times. The split wing consists of a polystyrene core and is lined with high-quality balsa wood. The entire surface is now underlaid with 80 g of glass fabric and, as a result, is significantly stiffer than its predecessor. The MH-30 profile transforms the CHEETAH R into an exceptional aerobatic model with an outstanding price-performance ratio – as can always be expected from Staufenbiel.
Handy SizeThe model has a 1.75 m wing span. The wings can be dismantled by means of the 2 fastening screws for compact storage in almost any car boot.
Short Construction TimeThe CHEETAH R features a high degree of prefabrication and is available in an ARF and a PNP version with built-in motor (900KV) and 3 built-in digital servos with metal gears. In addition, the PNP version is supplied with an aluminium spinner, a folding propeller and now also a 50 A ESC. So, if you opt for the PNP variant, all you require is a 3S rechargeable battery and your remote control system to show what you are capable of doing with the CHEETAH R.
Tremendous Climbing PerformanceThe PNP version of the model already comes with a pre-installed and highly powerful brushless external rotor motor. In combination with a 3S Lipo battery, the CHEETAH R achieves fast flight performance almost right out of the box. In the ARF version, you can equip the model according to your wishes and adapt it to your preferences.
Outstanding AppearanceThe high-quality aerobatic glider is covered with fluorescent blue Oracover® film. The yellow ORACOVER® stripes and the black dyed fuselage provide a high contrast and make the glider very easy to identify in the sky. The logo is already imprinted on the right-hand wing.
