The Ares Indoor was developed in collaboration with Krill Aircraft, creators of the full-scale composite Ares, and Jack Jehle to deliver an indoor EPP model that faithfully reproduces the appearance, handling, and flight character of the original. Constructed from lightweight yet highly durable 4 mm EPP, it offers excellent resilience compared to traditional Depron models, allowing quick repairs without part replacement, while carbon rod and strip reinforcements provide strength and rigidity with minimal weight. Flight performance was carefully tuned for precision, predictability, and versatility, with smooth, symmetrical response on all axes that preserves the calm, precise feel of the full-size aircraft. Dual aileron servos enable accurate control and optional flap configurations for slow, stable flight and effortless knife-edge maneuvers, while the centrally mounted motor helps protect the propeller during minor impacts. The result is a rigid, composed, and highly maneuverable indoor model well suited to both recreational and advanced pilots.
