The new JS3, like the TwinShark, was built in CAD and planned right through to the last screw. All shapes were milled so that nothing stood in the way of a perfect result. The model has been flying since June 2018 and made a very, very good impression from the start. The JS3 is available in 5.45 m and 6.55 m with various outer wings and separately pluggable winglets. You can create 2 models with different advantages. The 6.55 m version looks impressively beautiful and has the absolute best sliding properties of all our models. It can be flown / cranked very tightly and slowly. The smaller 5.45m version is more manoeuvrable, more compact and can be used for tough operation on slopes or mountains.
The JS3 is a very balanced, good-natured glider with enormous all-round properties so that even less experienced pilots feel comfortable with our JS3 right from the start. Above all the take-off and landing characteristics with increased ground clearance of the wing geometry and the very slow flyable basic speed make it a breeze to fly the plane. Besides, the thermal performance is in a class of its own and in terms of dynamics, the new JS3 is in no way inferior to our other models, on the contrary.
