The F-18 from FMS is a true-to-original RC jet made from EPO rigid foam. The model comes almost ready to fly out of the box - including numerous scale details, a robust undercarriage, an efficient 12-blade impeller and functional lighting.

The original model
The F/A-18 Hornet is a third-generation supersonic fighter aircraft originally developed by McDonnell Douglas (now Boeing) for the US Navy. With its single-seater or two-seater configuration, swept wings and two turbofan engines, the F/A-18 is a true masterpiece of aviation technology. It is characterized by exceptional versatility and can be used as both a fighter and an attack aircraft. As the US Navy's main combat aircraft, the F/A-18 Hornet plays a central role in air defense and ground attacks. First flown in 1974, it has been in service since 1983 and, following the retirement of the F-14 in 2006, is the only carrier-based fighter aircraft on US aircraft carriers.

The model - absolutely scale

Powerful and maneuverable
The F-18 from FMS is equipped with an efficient 64mm impeller with 12 blades, a powerful brushless 2840-KV3150 inrunner motor and a 40A controller. These components guarantee excellent flight performance at both high and low speeds. Five high-precision 9g digital servos control the model and enable precise maneuvers that reflect the original with its fighter jet capabilities. The main wing and horizontal tail are equipped with reinforcement tubes to ensure maximum stability even during aggressive flight maneuvers.
