The OMPHOBBY M7R is a competition-focused 700-class RC helicopter developed as the refined successor to the proven M7. Designed for maximum performance, its optimized airframe is approximately 200 g lighter than the original model, reducing inertia while maintaining excellent strength and durability. The result is faster cyclic response, precise collective control, improved directional stability, and an exceptionally sharp tail response.
The M7R features a sleek rotor head with POM inserts, delivering crisp control from low head speeds around 1100 RPM up to 2400 RPM. Its heavy-duty 122T main gear, reinforced belt-driven tail system, and adjustable gearing are engineered for demanding power systems and intense competition flying. A redesigned lower frame provides easier battery installation, improved maintenance access, and compatibility with large batteries.
The helicopter also includes a lighter, more aerodynamic canopy and retains key component interfaces for compatibility with many original M7 parts. Several kit versions are available, with optional blade, motor, ESC, and Bluetooth module packages
