Easily recognizable, a small Lift Off, just as many have wished for due to the success of its "big brother". As a result, it is essentially a "smaller but funky" version of the Lift Off. Only a few minor changes have been made. Size and weight guarantee hotline fun even with small, inexpensive and lightweight drives. The aerodynamic overall concept with the new cross-tail guarantees maximum flight performance. Together with the wingtips, a so-called depth jump (sudden increase in wing depth) optimizes slow flight and circling in thermals. The MH 43 wing profile, which is only 8.5% thick, ensures breathtaking speed flights and the best glide. In addition, the model is easy to control, particularly axis-neutral and rudder-effective to the desired degree. The Lift Off XS flies over a wide speed range, is particularly aerobatic and can be braked with the aileron flaps raised, allowing it to be landed "butter-soft" and slowly. Small engines with 6-8 cells are completely sufficient for "just for fun". However, space and strength also allow the installation of power drives in the 10-cell class. The fuselage offers space for up to 10 Sub-C or 14 2/3 Sub-C cells.
The battery can be changed through the easily removable canopy. The kit consists of the finest prefabricated parts in the usual SIMPROP quality. Construction is very simple and is essentially limited to installation and covering work. The high degree of prefabrication of all components makes it possible to assemble the wings and tail unit directly from the kit onto the fuselage.
