The Notos, a complete in-house development by Planeprint, is a precision aerobatic model inspired by current F3A competition models. It is easy to fly, but also appeals to experienced pilots and is excellent as a trainer, as it is smaller than a competition model. Compared to the 2 meter F3A and RC3 models, much less complex RC components are required. Nevertheless, the flight characteristics are very similar. This aircraft is the ideal training tool for ambitious pilots and those who simply enjoy aerobatic maneuvers.
Since a light flying weight is essential for aerobatic models, we have chosen a hybrid construction of conventional PLA and Lightweigt-PLA (LW). Due to the long fuselage, a 100% PLA construction would not work and the center of gravity could not be maintained without additional weight.
The Notos is uncompromisingly designed as a "flight tool" and meets high demands for precise aerobatics.
