The Planeprint Seagull is our second realistic bird model after the popular Eagle. We offer the model in two versions, a pure glider and a version with EDF drive.
The EDF version has the advantage that you do not need a visible propeller and the head of the bird is not visually affected. The air inlets and outlets are very inconspicuous and hardly visible in flight.
The pure GLIDER version is uncompromisingly designed for lightweight construction (combination of normal PLA (or Tough PLA) and a large proportion of LW-PLA. This results in a very low wingload of only 17 g/dm² !
Due to the more complex construction of the fuselage in the EDF version, the rear fuselage is built more stable from PLA.
Why we have chosen a Seagull as a model has among other things the reason that the animal has a white plumage. On the one hand, this has the advantage that you do not have to invest much effort in painting and the light surface has significantly fewer problems with the heat in the blazing sun.
Due to the 1500 mm wingspan, the Seagull is a compact and easy to handle aircraft with excellent flight characteristics.

Although I do my best to complete this library, you may not find the model you are looking for.
In this case, do not hesitate to ask me to add it : You're not bothering me. Please be patient, depending on my workload, I may take a few days to work on your model and gather information.
I'm sometime asked to add a non flying model to this library but unfortunately, it's not the focus of this website
