The new Scirocco "XS" is the further downsized and enhanced version of our successful Scirocco "L" and "S" models.
At your request, we have developed an even more compact version of our Scirocco.
The Scirocco XS has a newly developed fuselage, which has even more strength in the rear due to its oval shape. The wing geometry has been optimized in the outer area for the smaller wingspan.
With its 3.25m wingspan, it is even more compact and significantly more maneuverable, making it ideal for flying on slopes in alpine regions. Just as well, however, on the flat or in dynamic aerobatics, the Scirocco XS shows its full temperament.
The Scirocco XS is a high performance glider model in modern GRP/CFRP shell construction with very high strength. The H-shaped main spar in sandwich construction made of Airex as support material with laminated carbon fiber fabric has been significantly reinforced. Suitable for the hobby pilot looking for an all-round glider with emphasis on maneuverability, aerobatics/slope.
The elaborate shapely design allows as usual excellent attitude recognition.
The wing joins from the center section to the outer surfaces are force-fitted and cleanly by CFRP square spar.
The model is available in two versions (ARF/PNP) and is largely pre-assembled in the PNP version.
The Ro-Power Torque 4356 motor, spinner, Aeronaut propeller and servos including wiring are pre-installed in the PNP version, so that the construction effort is reduced to a minimum. In the ARF version, you have the option to use individual RC components as you see fit.
