The Hangar 9® Valiant 20cc is a scaled-down version of the popular Valiant 30cc, offering a giant-scale experience in a more practical 86.5-inch (2.2m) wingspan. Designed for intermediate to advanced pilots, it combines smooth, stable flight with impressive aerobatic capability. The model features lightweight yet strong wood construction covered in UltraCote film, ensuring durability without excess weight.
Available in ARF or PNP versions, the Valiant 20cc accommodates glow, gas, or electric power systems. The PNP version includes six Spektrum servos, a 4S-6S Avian 5065-450Kv motor, and a 100-amp Smart ESC with telemetry. Its semi-symmetrical airfoil and operational flaps enhance handling, allowing STOL-like performance and versatile control options like flaperons and spoilerons.
The ARF version arrives mostly pre-assembled with hinged control surfaces, while the PNP version requires no glue. Both include durable aluminum landing gear (with optional wheel pants) and LED lights. Optional floats and a painted fiberglass cowl further customize the model.
