The HobbyZone Carbon Cub S 2 1.3m Cleetus McFarland Special Edition is a special version of the best-selling Carbon Cub S 2, featuring the same design as Cleetus McFarland’s full-scale Carbon Cub. It includes SAFE technology with Beginner, Intermediate, and Experienced flight modes plus Panic Recovery for easy learning.

It has a durable EPO airframe, a brushless motor, telemetry-capable ESC, receiver, and servos all factory-installed. The oversized tundra tires and optional floats allow takeoffs and landings on pavement, grass, gravel, or water. Optional SAFE Plus GPS and Landing Assist Sensor further simplify learning.

Two versions are available:

RTF Basic version includes a transmitter, flight simulator software, and electronics (battery and charger sold separately).

BNF Basic version works with existing Spektrum transmitters and batteries.

The airplane can perform aerobatics in Experienced mode and the included transmitter can also control other compatible RC aircraft. This model offers one of the easiest and most versatile ways to learn RC flying.
