This Avios RC Spitfire Mk.1a is a highly detailed, plug-and-fly (PNF) foam model of the iconic WWII fighter, faithfully replicating the early Battle of Britain-era version. Designed from Tom Hunt’s authentic drawings, it features scale realism with a sliding canopy, operational split flaps, LED nav lights, and retractable landing gear with sprung oleos for smooth ground handling.
The model boasts improved fit and finish, including hidden hinges, authentic panel lines, and a spring-loaded battery hatch. It comes with scale decals for Spitfire P9374 "J" and a powerful 6S-compatible brushless motor (SK3 5055-380KV) driving a 15x10 3-blade prop, paired with an 80A ESC and high-quality digital servos.
A stunning tribute to the legendary fighter, this Spitfire delivers exceptional flight performance and scale detail, making it a must-have for warbird enthusiasts.
